Welcome to De Warenne Academy

De Warenne Academy is a close-knit community and we pride ourselves on knowing our students well and doing our utmost to ensure everyone fulfils their potential.  We are a member of the Delta Academies Trust and serve the communities of Conisbrough and Denaby Main.

We are on a journey of rapid improvement and, although we achieved our best ever GCSE and A Level results in the summer of 2016, we are not complacent and we strive to do even better.  We aim to ensure that our students can learn in a safe and supportive environment, where everyone values academic achievement and has a positive attitude to learning.

We strongly encourage our students to take part in a wide range of enrichment activities in order to discover all of their strengths and talents and we regularly organise whole school events and educational visits so that our students have experience of learning beyond the classroom.

Most importantly, we understand that our students are most successful when they feel happy and valued, supported yet challenged to achieve their very best.  Our team of dedicated and talented teachers and support staff is committed to ensuring the best possible outcomes for every child in our care.

I hope that this website provides you with lots of useful information and a place to find out about all the latest news and events, and I look forward to sharing our future successes with you.
