    Tuesday 4th September at 8:20 will see all students from Y7-Y13 starting the 2018/2019 academic year.

    First Day

    8:25 to 9:25 you will be in form time, if you received a timetable by email or have viewed it on School Gateway you should go to the room that your tutor time; marked 'TT' shows. A list on the wall will also guide you. Some forms may have changed so please do check. Timetables will be available on school gateway from Monday 3rd September.

  • GCSE - Record results

    23rd August 2018

    Yet again students, parents and staff were celebrating record GCSE results at De Warenne, with the year group having made more progress than any other year group to have left the academy. 

    The most able pupils did extremely well, picking up the prestigious new GCSE grade 9s across maths, English, computer science, biology, chemistry, physics, history, geography and photography. 

    On an individual level the highest attaining pupil, Jack Hicks achieved seven GCSE grade 9s, one grade 8 and a BTEC distinction star

  • Post 16 results success

    Staff and students at De Warenne Academy were delighted to see their hard work rewarded on the recent Post 16 results day. The new qualifications meant that this year students have faced significantly different challenges to those from previous years and they have risen to the challenge, securing some very positive outcomes.     On Tuesday 10th, Wednesday 11th July and Thursday 12th De Warenne Academy rocked to the sound of the Queen. Students have spent 7 months rehearsing for the show and were al very proud of their work. Our significant investment in the students and the technology made the show the biggest De Warenne has performed.
